WebbSharp corners should be rounded with a radius measuring between 25 and 60% of the nominal wall thickness. If the part has a load bearing function, then the upper end is recommended. A minimum inner corner radius of 0.5 mm is suggested. In order to keep the wall thickness uniform, the outside radius of a corner should be equal to the inner ... Webb5 mars 2014 · Many of my drawings contain fillets and when dimensioning I would like to run my dimension to the theoretical point/sharp corner. Is this possible and if so how? Thanks! Webb16 jan. 2024 · #1 Can anyone explain to me how to dimension to a Theoretical Sharp Corner. Example is when you have two lines that form a corner but is not a 90* corner or when a non-horizontal or vertical line has been filleted and now you want to dimension to what was a sharp corner before you placed a fillet. Webb11 mars 2024 · Theoretical Sharp Corners in drawings. I am not sure if this is a function but it would be nice to have a command that would create a point for a theoretical sharp corner where a radius and a line intersect in drawings. Onshape has this feature and I could see it very useful in Fusion 360.
Webb7 aug. 2014 · If you must measure on CMM and you have scanning capability you could scan along the 2D cross section as shown in the image with a very small ruby capturing as much of the radius as possible without contacting the cone. There's actually another way to do it, that doesn't require sketch geometry.
