WebFBXO5又名早期有丝分裂抑制物(Emi1)属于F-box家族蛋白，可参与组成Skp1-Cul1-F-box-protein (SCF)泛素连接酶，介导蛋白的泛素化降解[7]。 我们的研究发现：FBXO5在CRC组织表达升高；FBXO5高表达与CRC患者不良预后密切相关，可以作为结直肠癌的一个新的预后指标和潜在的治疗靶点。 WebSCF型E3连接酶来源于3个核心亚基，这3种亚基为:着丝点蛋白抑制物1(suppressor of kinetochore protein mutant，Skp1)，卡林1(cullin 1，Cul1)，叉头转录因子蛋白(forhead box protein，FOX)，SCF 即是取这 3 种亚基简称的首字母所得。SCF复合体有3种主要成分，分别为Skp1、Cul1和环盒蛋白1。
