Cryocoolers
Webcryocoolers have been developed for space applications, but their cooling powers are orders of magnitude less than those required for these aircraft applications. Large industrial cryocoolers or refrigerators have been developed that can provide the required refrigeration power, but no effort has been made to make those systems lightweight. Web4 K cryocoolers — sample in vacuum systems (SHI-4 Series) Lake Shore SHI-4 series cryostats are among the most versatile systems available for laboratory sample cooling. They are equipped with interchangeable optics and include provisions for a wide variety of electrical connectors.
