WebClownsteady and Drifter's Last are both in close proximity to the Waystation. A Lost Library for when you eventually need ancient texts. There are great building spots along the river with frequent mercenary and samurai patrols. There is even a Mercenary Camp you can build right next to north of Drifter's Last for added security.
